Nepal One Day Hiking information and Book Now



 If you are planning for a day tour around Kathmandu Valley Nepal, we would strongly recommend you to go for ‘One Day Hiking to Tokha Chandeswori- Shivpuri and Budanilkantha’ package program. You will be set in 5hrs of unlimited fun and After taking breakfast, you will be picked up from hotel and transferred to ancient suburban village of Tokha Chandeswori. Hiking begins from southern edge of Chandeswori Village which is very nice. Move through cobbled streets and walk past local temples. The locals still adopt the ancient lifestyle. You can see red chilies and onions hanging from the roof while women can be seen spinning wheels. Follow the ascending trail and enter Shivpuri in about 2hrs of walk. Shivpuri Hill offers spectacular view of Kathmandu Districk. It is also known as the best bird watching site in Kathmandu. In fact, Shivpuri is the second best view point near Kathmandu City. Lower down from the slope to arrive at Budhanilkantha which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. There is a stone idol of Lord Vishnu who is portrayed sleeping peacefully in reclining position on the bed of snakes. It is known to be the biggest stone cutting in entire Nepal. Royal members are not allowed to visit this temple. Hiking ends at Budanilkantha. You will be transferred back to the hotel at around 1pm.After You are free to spend the time on your own for rest of the day. We would suggest you to take evening stroll in Kathmandu Durbar Square.Rough Itinerary Outline07:30 AM - Breakfast at Hotel




08:00 AM- Pickup at Hotel, drive to Tokha Chandeswori (10km, 30min)
08:30 AM– Hike from southern edge of Chandeswori Village, Hike to Shivapuri Dandagaon. Take lunch and enjoy views of Kathmandu.
12:00 - Hike to Budanilkantha
1:00 PM - Drive back to Kathmandu
